stand alone

Maybe one day 

I'll stand for myself

By myself 

Because I've always thought

There was beauty 

In being alone 

But I've never had the strength

Because it's scary 

To be alone

Without someone to hold

But maybe

If you can stand alone without me

Why can't I?
